Kailua
business community is active, thriving and supported by residents,
visitors and fellow businesses and the KCOC is a cross-section of
businesses and individuals from the Kailua community that serves to
unite members of the business and industrial communities in a spirit of
mutual cooperation and dedication. This association serves to address –
and solve – many of the problems facing Windward Oahu.
Established
in 1957 as the Windward Chamber of Commerce, the organization has
become an active influence in Windward Oahu, the Honolulu City Council
and State Legislature. As the Windward area grew in population, the
organization became the Kailua Chamber of Commerce, focusing its
efforts on Kailua, Enchanted Lake, Aikahi Park and Lanikai.
