The public is invited to see Marines in historic uniforms and carrying authentic period weapons dating back 236 years during the Marine Corps birthday pageant at Kainalu Elementary School on Nov. 8 at 12:45 p.m.
The birthday pageant is an annual celebration to commemorate the Marine Corps' birthday on Nov. 10.
This is the first year the Marines will showcase their pageant in the community.
Each Marine will tell a story as if he were present for the historic battles of the respective era. The pageant will also be held at Marine Corps Base Hawaii Nov. 9 at 10 a.m.
