Friends of Windward Wounded Warriors
We are a local non-profit organization that is a program of the Honolulu council Navy League.  We are headed by retired Marine Corps Officer, Chaplain Steve Jensen.  Our organization helps to provide wounded, ill and injured Marines and their family members that are currently stationed at K-Bay, a variety of services.  Among those services are career internship programs, family gatherings or caregiver retreats where they are able to receive useful information that helps provide them with tools that will aid in their journey as they return to the fleet or transition out of the service back to civilian life.  We also have many other services that are provided.
On April 4th, 2013 Whole Foods Kailua will be allowing us to participate in their community giving day, otherwise know as 5% days.  This will allow our organization the opportunity to meet our supportive community and explain to them our purpose.  We will also be accepting donations and Whole Foods will be donating 5% of thei nets sales to our non-profit organization.
